Who We Are and Why We Need You
The Friends of Middleborough Public Library is a non-profit group of citizens who have been working together since 1985 to help the Middleborough Public library better serve the community. The Friends provide support to the Library in the form of funding for programs and events including children's programs, summer reading, museum passes and many cultural programs and events.
Since being established in 1874 Middleborough's Public Library has always relied on volunteers and private donations in support of its mission to serve the educational and cultural needs of the citizens of Middleborough. The 21st century has brought new challenges for Middleborough and its Library including a growing demand for new technology as well as modern programs and services. The support of the Friends has become even more crucial in meeting those needs.
Middleborough Public Library and the Friends need your help and support. For more information please email the Friends at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 508-946-2470.
