Library Highlights

  • Celebrate Pride Month by stopping by the Library for a film talk by expert Frank Mandosa.  We'll take a look at the ongoing evolution of LGBTQ representation both onscreen and off.

Frank will show slides with film clips, some with interactive trivia questions.  There'll also be a photo display, and raffle for a chance to win a movie-themed door prize.

  • The Middleborough Public Library seeks candidates for two vacancies on its Board of Trustees. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about contributing to policy development, financial management, local partnerships, and advocacy efforts.

The Board will review applications and recommend candidates to the Select Board. The chosen candidate will serve either until June 30, 2025, with the possibility of reappointment or until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of reappointment.

If you are interested, please submit your application, including a cover letter and resume, by Friday, June 7, 2024, at 10 am EST.

  • Pressreader offers Middleborough residents access to newspapers and magazines from around the world--including the Boston Globe and The Economist--24/7 from your laptop, phone, or tablet. You can have your newspaper and magazine subscriptions automatically delivered each morning.

A special thanks to the Wilfred M. Silvia Library Trust for their continued support.

  • Morningstar has long been a trusted resource for market analysis on stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs.

Patrons of the Middleborough Public Library now have access to the Morningstar Investment Center for free, 24/7 from home. All you need is a Middleborough library card and your pin (normally the last 4 digits of your phone number on file).

A special thanks to the Wilfred M. Silvia Library Trust for their continued support.

  • You can watch authors live at the scheduled time or see recordings of the programs in the archives after they first air at https://libraryc.org/midlib/archive

If you register to watch the live presentation, you can even submit a question for the author ahead of time.
