Take the Ultimate Library Road Trip by exploring libraries in the SAILS Library Network between April 18th through April 29th. Your SAILS Library card works at all of them, so feel free to borrow something while you’re there. Many Libraries will have special events or a treat for our Library Road Trippers during these two weeks.

Great Places a Visit While You Are Visiting the 'Borough!

  • Oliver Mill Park | Directions
    Oliver Mill Park is a municipal park on Nemasket Street in Middleborough, Massachusetts. It contains the remains of a major 18th-century industrial complex developed by Peter Oliver, which included several mills, a blast furnace, and a forge.
  • Soule Homestead | Directions
    Soule Homestead Education Center is an educational non-profit specializing in farm-based education, rural craft workshops and family cultural events. Visitors welcome seven days a week during daylight hours.
     
  • Middleborough Historical Museum | Directions
    The Middleborough Historical Museum, more commonly known by locals as the Tom Thumb Museum, opened its doors in 1961. Run by an all-volunteer staff in partnership with the Middleborough Historical Association, the Middleborough Historical Association and Museum is comprised of a total of 7 buildings located on Jackson Street in the Historic Downtown area of Middleborough.
