Rhode Island artist Deenie Pacik offers adults 18+ the chance to create a pendant for a necklace or magnet with pre-cut glass powder, crushed glass and dichroic (displays two different colors) glass. You'll be able to add words to your creation by writing on the glass with markers that will permanently fuse onto the pendant - - as easy as decorating a homemade pizza!
To accommodate the greatest number of participants, we'll be offering two sessions -- one from 3:00-4:30 p.m., and another from 6:15- 7:45 p.m.
Pacik has worked with glass for more than 20 years. She creates stained glass windows, modern fused glass, and original architectural glass art, and has exhibited her work in museums, galleries and juried shows. She has been awarded for her work by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Stained Glass Association of America.
Registration will open October 4. Seating is limited.
