The 1-3:00 p.m. workshop is full, but a 2nd workshop has been added from 4-6:00 p.m. on the same day.
Teens aged 11-18 are invited to join us for a Henna Workshop on Thursday, February 22. Two workshops are being offered: from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Library's downstairs meeting room. Kara Andrews, from Art on the Spot, will be discussing the history, application, and different types of cultural Henna styles. Teens will be able to practice with their own Henna paste, as well as receive a small henna design from Kara.
Kara Andrews is the owner and artistic director of Art on the Spot studio in Middleboro. She received a MA/Fine Art teaching degree at BSU and has been sharing her passion and expertise with the Middleboro community for over 20 years.
