Storyteller Charlot Lucien

Join award winning storyteller Charlot Lucien on Wednesday, February 21st at 4 p.m. for an engaging, bilingual performance of Haitian stories.

Charlot is an author of five storytelling CDs in Haitian Creole and French and is the author of My Storytelling Journey: From Rural Settings in Haiti to Urban Settings in New England (Routledge, 2023).  From Northeast Storytelling "Charlot Lucien is a Haitian-born storyteller, visual artist, and lecturer on Haitian culture and history.  He has received various awards for his cultural advocacy and his promotion of Haitian storytelling."  

This program is open to families with children of all ages.

This program is supported by the Jordan Miller Storytelling grant and the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library.
