CELEBRATE Literacy Month with 3-5 year olds!

Celebrate Literacy Month: “Years ago Dr. Seuss took 220 words, rhymed them and turned out the book “The Cat in the Hat”. From this beginning came the concept of Beginner Books, with exacting blends of words and pictures that encourage children to read.” During this preschool gathering, a Beginner Book entitled "Put Me In The Zoo", written by Robert Lopshire, will be read and the children will use their imaginations to create their own imaginary animal. There will also be activities around the book, music and movement and many literacy resources for parents to take home.
