Spider Making Workshop at the COA

Do you know the story of Anansi, the trickster spider from West African tales? Come learn the story and help craft spiders for an upcoming show by Grumbling Gryphons. Bring the grandkids because all ages are welcome to join in this creative activity held at the Council on Aging (COA) at 558 Plymouth St. While you are making the spiders, you can learn about the upcoming drama workshop and performance on August 8th at the Town Hall.

Stay for lunch! The COA will offer a kid friendly lunch served at noon for $5/person. Menu:  Stuffed Broccoli & Cheese Chicken or Chicken Nuggets and Tater Tots.

Call the COA at 508-946-2490 to sign up for the workshop and/or lunch.

Funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies.  This program is also generously supported by the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library.
