The Monster Detective Collective: A Children's Energy Efficiency Event
Calling all kids! The Middleborough Gas & Electric Department is hosting the Monster Detective Collective at the Middleborough Public Library on Thursday, November 2nd at 1:00PM.
At this exciting event, children will get to join a team of wacky junior detectives to help solve the mystery of wasting energy in homes and buildings. Using fun interactive activities, participants will learn how to spot energy-wasters at home like leaky faucets, open windows, and lights being left on. Creative games and challenges will teach children how to implement energy saving strategies and behaviors in a fun, engaging way.
At the end of this interactive adventure, junior monster detectives will get to do a Touch-a-Truck with MGED bucket trucks and excavators.
The Monster Detective Collective event is free and open to all children ages 6 and up and their siblings. Join us for an afternoon of mystery, intrigue, and energy education! Help vanquish the wasteful energy use in our community.
