Nichols Middle School Summer Reading Assignment
This year, Nichols Middle School students are encouraged to participate in the Library's Teen Summer Reading Challenge. Read and earn virtual tickets for a chance to win one of eight Grand Prizes!

Our current library building hours are:
Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Curbside Pickup Service for Borrowing Books
If you'd like to borrow an item from the library and don't want to enter the building:
1. Go to our online catalog and search for your title. Our delivery service has resumed so most materials are available for borrowing.
You may also request an item by calling the Library at 508-946-2470 or emailing midlib@sailsinc.org.
2. Place a hold on a title using your library card. Don't have a card or lost yours? Sign up for a temporary card or visit us to purchase a replacement card for $1.00.
3. Once your item(s) are ready, you can contact the Library to schedule a pickup time or you may now schedule and adjust your own curbside appointments via the Library's curbside appointment portal. To login into the portal, you will use your library card and password for the SAILS catalog. You may only make an appointment once your materials are waiting to be picked up.

4. Make sure to bring a library card or form of ID for the person who is borrowing the items.

Borrowing Ebooks and Audiobooks
If you would like to read an ebook or listen to an audio book on your reading list, you can borrow ebooks and audiobooks for free using OverDrive or the Sora and Libby apps.
Search the OverDrive catalog for a title. You can also download the Sora or Libby App on your mobile device.

Summer Reading is optional for grades 9-12, but is required for all AP English courses.
